If you have tried to create your own website, using a template you found online, but it’s just not working for you, then you are in the same position as another one of our customers, Peppermint Lane Photography.
Firstly, don’t panic. We can fix it for you. Secondly, don’t worry, we understand. Sometimes when you’re just starting out, it is easy to try and put something together yourselves. It costs you nothing and gets you a website. However, is it a website that works? Is it something you are proud to show your customers and does it work for you?
If the answer is no, then it’s time to contact Big Blue Creative, just like Jason and Stephanie from Peppermint Lane Photography. They had found a template and made their own site. But the template did not work properly, they could not update some pretty key sections (like the contact details) and they weren’t happy with how it looked on the internet.
This creative pair do amazing work. Stephie specialises in beautiful, natural and genuine photography. As well as weddings, she does family portraits, pregnancy photo shoots, kids photos and more. Jason, her partner in life and business, does films. Their business Peppermint Lane Photography delivers a suite of photography and film services, to a host of very happy customers.
None of this was being portrayed on their website and they relied mainly on social media to tell their story. When they approached Big Blue Creative to quote on creating a new website for them, they had a clear idea of what they wanted to achieve. We worked with them to deliver a site that met their brief and budget.
The new Peppermint Lane Photography website has been designed and developed in WordPress, incorporating parallax coding, to deliver the appearance and functionality they wanted. It showcases their photography, film and other products.
The site includes a blog and multiple image galleries. Being built in WordPress, it is completely editable, enabling Peppermint Lane to update its content and images, as and when they like. It is also responsive and mobile-friendly.
